Hold the pen about 2cm (3/4 inch) from its tip and rest your pinky finger just below the outer corner of the eye for stability. Keeping as close to the lash line as possible, line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner, graduating in thickness as you go. Finish your line in a tapered point. Dab - don't drag - the liner across your lid for greater application control.
PRO TIP:
Achieve perfectly angled flicks by beginning your lines from the outer corner of the lower lash line. Imagine an angle flowing from this point to the end of the brow and with the eye open, mark the end point and angle for your flicks. Next, carefully join this point to the top lash line and perfect your liner as needed.
